Assemblies provide a structured environment for informed and collective judgement. Through engagement with evidence, diverse perspectives, and facilitated discussion, participants work through complexity together.

In doing so, they generate three core forms of value:

1. Solidarity: Creating connections across different perspectives, helping to reduce polarisation and find common ground.

2. Learning: Building shared understanding grounded in evidence, helping participants navigate complexity and challenge misinformation.

3. Agency: Strengthening the ability to engage, contribute, and act, drawing on individual knowledge, experience, and resources.

The Global Citizens’ Assembly brings these efforts into a coordinated structure, connecting otherwise fragmented processes into a shared network of assemblies. In doing so, it establishes a shared framework for participation, where multiple processes can exist, align, and contribute within a common system.
